Texas Plaintiffs File Actos Complaint

The Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois is the site of consolidated litigation filed against drug maker Takeda by patients affected by the serious side effects associated with the manufacturer’s type II diabetes medication. A new lawsuit was added to the growing litigation on the 28th of December, 2012, on behalf of plaintiffs Alvin Zidell and Barbara Lipshy. Lipshy and Zidell are a married couple who are residents of Texas; they claim in their lawsuit that Zidell developed bladder cancer as a result of his use of the type II diabetes medication Actos.
